Inside NEXT Electric’s Year of Fundraising and Building Connections

NEXT Electric ended the 2024 year with record-breaking fundraising and an unforgettable community. Read on for more on NEXT level news!

Next Electric team members recently gathered at the Hard Hats with Hearts flagship event, in support of the American Heart Association (AHA), to round out a year of fundraising, fun, and furthering the Hard Hats mission. Hosted at the Milwaukee Tool downtown office, the premier event entailed an auction with exclusive access to local events and experiences, more donation drives, speeches, food, and camaraderie.

To recap the campaign, NEXT Electric President and Hard Hats with Hearts Chairman, Chris Surges, spoke to the importance of the Hard Hats initiative and improving cardiovascular health among those working within the construction industry. This year, Hard Hats raised $296,010 before their final fundraising event happening in September, the best year of fundraising yet according to the program’s director.

In that same spirit of camaraderie and community, NEXT Electric also held their annual customer appreciation event at this year’s Wisconsin State Fair, hosting about 900 attendees. NEXT customers and their families were invited to the NEXT tent which offered full access to the fair, all you can eat catered food, and a gaming section for kids with opportunities to win carnival tickets. Besides being a great team-building activity, the event allows NEXT to stay connected with its great customers away from the job site.
