The ABC Wisconsin Apprenticeship & Training Trust recently hosted its 33rd Annual Apprenticeship Skill Competition, a long-standing tradition that showcases the expertise and dedication of Wisconsin apprentices across Electrical, Carpentry, HVAC, and Plumbing trades. Participants put their skills to the test with a rigorous two-hour written exam and a four-hour hands-on practical exam, designed to evaluate both their technical knowledge and real-world performance.

NEXT Electric is proud to celebrate apprentice Samuel Carlson, who showcased his exceptional skills during the electrical portion of the competition and earned 3rd place. Following competition scoring, the top three winners in each trade were announced at the awards presentation where Samuel was then recognized for his impressive performance and received prizes from event sponsors.

Competing against some of Wisconsin’s top apprentices, Samuel’s performance reaffirms his status as a standout in the field and highlights the strength of NEXT Electric’s apprenticeship training program. His achievement is a testament to his hard work, skill, and commitment to excellence.

Congratulations, Samuel, on this well-deserved recognition! Your success is an inspiration to your peers and a proud moment for both the NEXT Electric team and the IES Family at large. We’re excited to see all that you accomplish NEXT!
